Science Day 2016

Science Day 2016

Wow! We loved Science Day! The theme of the day was ‘Exploring and Investigating’. The children were divided into five mixed age groups which were all named after famous Scientists. Can you remember what your Scientist was famous for? The groups took party in a wide range of activities exploring different aspects of Science including building structures; using digital microscopes to take a closer look at nature; making explosions using mentos and fizzy drinks; making their own bubbles and bubble wands; exploring with magnets as well as firing paper mice into the air and investigating what affected their flight. The older children were fantastic at helping the younger children explore and learn. Please come and see our Science Day display by the library to see more pictures and comments.
